Jesus Christ everything MXD does turns to drama in some way or another.
The pilot in question was promoted on the spot and given a medal, but even he didn't think it was all that big of a deal in hindsight. Violet Lady was just punting about in his Ishkur and tackled a flashy Zealot, went in for the kill, screamed in corp for help, then said "Oh... dead". We thought at first he meant he was dead, but in fact it was the Zealot. We lolled over the killmail for about a day then went back to business a usual.
Zealot without a web, tracking enhancer or support is a lost cause against an assault frigate - everyone in my corp knows that and you lot should too. It would have been exactly the same if Violet Lady was in the Zealot and Enyalie in the Ishkur, except for the fact that all of you idiots wouldn't have been having heart attacks over it because it would have just been another loss for MXD and none of you have any idea who the hell we are, but given that this was a Veto loss everyone thinks that the sky's falling. I'm not exactly on the best of terms with Verone or his corp, but I'm objective enough to realise that if one careless ship loss is a sign of decline then his corp, along with a whole bunch of others, including yours, would have folded years ago. MXD has stupid losses too, like Sojet trying to smartbomb Jita 4-4.
Get the **** over yourselves.
